Workplace Bullying Resources

A short teaching about how to deal with bullies

Resources for if you are currently dealing with workplace bullying

These resources include dealing with the logistical side of workplace bullying (i.e. documentation, legal matters, etc.), workplace bullying dynamics, and strategies for recovery.

They include video content, writings, and community.

The website Workplace Bullying Institute has many resources dedicated to the topic of workplace bullying and a Youtube channel dedicated to this topic.

If you need strategies on how to navigate a toxic workplace, I highly recommend the book Workplace Bullying by researcher Dorothy Suskind. Her website is also a great resource when it comes to workplace bullying. I had coaching with her which was pivotal in my healing process from a workplace bullying experience due to her empathetic and attentive style.

Cassandra Mack has many videos about workplace bullying which I have gained tremendous value from. She shares strategies on how to navigate difficult personalities in the workplace and delves into the spiritual warfare side of workplace bullying.

Another Youtube channel I found value in is Boss Up Culture Org who has a spiritual take on workplace bullying.

If you feel like you are going through a spiritual test, consider the following:

  • You may be dealing with spiritual warfare before you get promoted to a different position or you (or your bullies) are moved to another department.

  • Sometimes you need to endure spiritual warfare for a short while until you get fired or laid off from a company so you can collect severance pay and unemployment benefits. While being on “unemployment benefits” is not a long-term solution, sometimes it is what God desires for a period, especially if going through the bullying resulted in trauma which you need to heal from.
